February 9 Whenever a dealership changes class (sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation) the Dealer Board is requiring the dealership to provide financial statements. A change in ownership of a corporation or LLC will now require financials for the new owner(s).
NOTE: New Dealer applicants must now provide 12 months worth of bank statements! There is also a new check list with slightly different requirements. Click here for the new Dealer/Wholesaler Checklist (02/02/12).

CAPSS provides the required Pre- Licensing Certification by qualified instructors.
Experience Counts!
Applicants for Used Motor Vehicle Licenses, Used Powersport Licenses, and Wholesalers are required to take this course. Franchise dealers and Sales people who need to prepare and take the Mastery Exam are also welcome!
You should be taught by those in the know, instructors who have experience working with dealers to ensure compliance. Our instructors can share real life experiences of dealers who have encountered stumbling blocks and struggled to remain in business. Our instructors have actual hands on experience working with dealers, and are highly respected and well-known throughout the State of Colorado -- ASK YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD DEALER!
Our instructors are former investigators for the Colorado Department of Revenue - Auto Industry Division (the governmental agency that governs and regulates motor vehicle/powersports dealers and sales personnel). They will make sure you are prepared when you open for business.
